Hello, all!
My book tour for Be with Me Always took up most of my time and energy this summer (see the pictures below) but now that it’s fall I have some news to post.
I’ve recently had two essays published:
“The Sitting” at Assay: A Journal of Nonfiction Studies (please read this one on something other than a phone so you can see the three calibrated columns!)
“What to Read When You’re Haunted” at The Rumpus
I’ve been working very hard editing my upcoming lyric essay anthology to be published by the University of Nebraska Press in 2021.
And I’m teaching two creative writing classes at American University this academic year as well as leading a series of workshops with the New Directions program in Washington, DC.
Be with Me Always events continue, though, including today’s presentation at George Mason’s Fall for the Book and a Literary Death Match (!) on Saturday 12 October. You can read more about upcoming events on my Events page.
